About Our Programs

What is the difference between PHP and IOP?

PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) is our most intensive outpatient option, meeting 5-6 days per week during daytime hours. IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) offers more flexibility with 3-5 sessions per week and evening options, allowing you to work or attend school while receiving treatment.

How long does treatment last?

Program length varies based on individual needs and progress. PHP typically lasts 2-4 weeks, while IOP ranges from 6-12 weeks. Your treatment team will work with you to determine the best timeline for your recovery.

What types of addiction do you treat?

We treat alcohol addiction, opioid use disorder, stimulant addiction, prescription drug dependence, and co-occurring mental health conditions. If you’re unsure whether we can help with your specific situation, contact our admissions team.

Do you offer detox services?

We specialize in outpatient treatment (PHP and IOP). If medically supervised detox is needed before starting our programs, we can connect you with trusted detox partners in the area.

What therapies and activities are included?

Our programs include individual therapy, group counseling, case management, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic lakefront activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing.

Admissions & Insurance

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We accept most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Oscar, Ambetter, Medica, and most commercial policies. We’ll verify your coverage at no cost.

How do I know if my insurance covers treatment?

Our admissions team will verify your benefits and provide a clear explanation of what’s covered and any out-of-pocket costs. This verification is free, confidential, and typically completed within 24 hours.

What if I don't have insurance?

Contact our admissions team to discuss payment options and potential financial assistance. We’re committed to making treatment accessible.

How quickly can I start treatment?

Many clients begin treatment within a few days of their initial call. We work quickly to assess your needs, verify insurance, and schedule your start date.

What should I bring to my first day?

Bring a photo ID, insurance card, list of current medications, comfortable clothing, and an open mind. Swimwear for lakefront activities is optional but recommended.

Daily Life & Schedule

Can I work while in treatment?

IOP is specifically designed to accommodate work and school schedules with evening and flexible daytime sessions. PHP requires daytime commitment but allows you to return home each evening.

Where will I stay during treatment?

Both PHP and IOP are outpatient programs, meaning you return home each day. You don’t live at our facility, which allows you to maintain family connections and apply recovery skills in real-time.

Can I bring my phone?

Yes, our outpatient programs allow you to keep your phone. However, we ask that you silence devices during group sessions to respect others’ focus and participation.

What does a typical day look like?

Days include individual therapy sessions, group counseling, educational workshops, and therapeutic activities. PHP clients attend programming during daytime hours, while IOP clients attend evening or partial day sessions based on their schedule.

Are weekends included?

PHP typically operates 5-6 days per week. IOP schedules vary but often include some weekend programming. We also offer weekend lakefront outings and activities.
